NYS Aspire / OCFS-Approved Courses
Professional Development That Counts.
Select Do Better trainings are approved through the New York State Aspire professional development system and meet OCFS requirements for youth development and afterschool professionals. Qualifying trainings may count toward applicable professional development requirements, and eligible participants may qualify for Educational Incentive Program (EIP) funding.
Ask About Approved CoursesYouth Development* Do Better's Youth Development trainings are designed specifically for professionals working in OCFS-regulated and SACC-funded programs in New York State. These courses are aligned to the competencies and professional development requirements for afterschool and out-of-school time staff, and select offerings are submitted for NYS Aspire approval. If you are a program director or staff member in an OCFS-regulated or SACC-funded program, ask about which courses count toward your professional development requirements.
Approval and EIP eligibility apply to specific courses only. Participants should confirm eligibility with their program director or contact Do Better directly. Not all trainings are approved, and funding eligibility depends on individual participant circumstances.
